Sergeant Major Brian Williams, born on September 24, 1967, in Utah, is a distinguished Combat Medic Officer in the U.S. Army. Orphaned early, he was raised by his grandmother in Spain before returning to Salt Lake City, Utah.
A 1995 graduate of the University of Utah with an MD/Ph.D. in Medicine, he began his military career through the SSU Army ROTC, receiving professional training as a Medical Corps officer.
Over a two-decade career, Williams has held key positions, including:- SGM, Combat Medic Team Alpha, 2nd Battalion, 503rd Infantry (Airborne)- SGM, Combat Medic Team Bravo, 1st Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment- Operations Officer, 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment Medical Support- SGM, 2nd Battalion Medical Detachment.
He has received numerous awards, such as the Combat Medical Badge, Legion of Merit, Purple Heart, Expert Field Medical Badge, Parachutist Badge, and Special Forces Medical Sergeant Badge.
Fluent in French, Spanish, and some Arabic, Williams is a widower and devoted father to his daughter, Kendra. He is also an avid outdoorsman and fitness enthusiast.
